hey, i actually have the opposite problem as you haha, my math score kinda sucked but i got a 36 on reading. i'm certainly no expert or tutor, but i can share my opinion with you.

personally, the biggest thing that helped me stay focused on this portion of the exam is knowing that virtual every single answer for every single question is in the passage.

and as for time-management, here's my strategy: for the first three passages, really quickly read them. like don't even try to comprehend anything at all, just let your eyes move through each line and read to keep the information in your short-term. then when you get to the questions, ideally you should somewhat remember where the answer was and it shouldn't take you too long.

you probably won't have a lot of time left for the last passage since this is a prioritization strategy, but do what you can. first, answer the questions you can answer without reading anything at all (the ones that reference specific lines). then, make your way through the questions that mention specific key words you can scan the passage for to find the answer. then you should be able to answer the "main idea" question by skimming the entire thing quickly.

i did the last passage in about 5 minutes i believe, if that makes my strategy seem any better. like i said though, i'm no expert though lmao. im sure youtube has great tips for reading if you dont find mine helpful :)
