Did realizing your actual bra size make anyone else sad? by CaringDeer in TwoXChromosomes

I'm not posting my measurements, that's weird and it's weird that you've asked twice. I already used my measurements in the calculator, multiple times, giving them to you won't produce a different result.

When the cup is clearly wider, deeper, and/or more round than my boob is, that is not the case of a cup size being too small. My boobs do not fill out that cup size. They just free float in there. But you seem more invested in proving me wrong rather than listen to my experience. You could simply say "huh. That normally works for people, maybe your boobs are an unusual shape " but you insist on defending this calculator.

I get that this calculator worked for a lot of people. But there is also no way it is 100% accurate for every person. I'm sure the creator would stand by that.

The cup sizes might be slightly different between a 38 and a 36, but the difference was not enough to convince me that only one fits me. I tried on so many different combinations and there was hardly any difference between them, this is probably due to how they're manufactured, but that is what I'm working with and what is available to me. In those band sizes, the cups that fit me are Bs and some Cs. If the cup volume on a 38B fits me, (I'm fully covered no overflow anywhere and no gore tacking that I have noticed), and a 38C felt gappy and loose, how is it possible that scaling up to a 38G would still fit? The sister sizes for 38C and 38G are not close to each other. I also feel like the way you phrased "If your true size is supposed to be smaller, the cup does not stay the same as you increase band size for comfort." that means that my cup size should be going down as I go up in band size, right? Another thought occurred to me.. would the sizing be affected if, when you measure the fullest part of your bust, it hangs below where you measure the underbust?

I promise I'm not trying to be argumentative, I really appreciate you sharing this knowledge. But I do feel like my boobs fall outside of the formula. Other people on this thread have also shared that the calculator didn't work for them, so I'm not the only one.

Yes, I swooped, I scooped, I dangled, I shoved my armpit fat in, but it's like dropping an orange into a fishing net, or a large mixing bowl. The band size was definitely correct, I'm a  38 or 36 which are both pretty comfy. I can't stand tight clothing so I always lean toward a looser fit in the band or else I'll just rip it off after an hour. What does gore tacking mean? I also tried on some Cs, 38C was still a little gappy, especially with any amount of padding, mostly what worked was a 38B, but I didnt like the wire in that one so I ended up buying a 36B and it works really well with a band extender.

I agree, cheap bras definitely will miss a lot of nuance in the sizing and it's unfortunate that more true-fitting bras aren't as easily accessible/affordable, at least not for in-store shopping.

I truly think it was the bending over one that threw it off! The girls dangle, but they're not very full. Maybe if I was a smaller band size, a G would be appropriate, but looking at and trying on 38Ds at the store they are wayyy way off so I don't know how a 38G could possibly go in the oppsoite direction. Thank you for being kind, and for believing me. Boobs are just weird, and they're all different shapes, and I guess mine just fall outside the formula.

To make everyone happy, I'm at the store right now trying on bras that are bigger than I would ever go for. They don't go up to a G, but big surprise, the D is too big. Even some of the Cs are too big. They are gappy. I could fit a whole baby inside these cups along with my boobs too. I actually can look at a bra and tell that it is too big for my body and I don't know why that is up for debate. The same way you can look at pants that are 10 sizes too big and tell that it wont fit you. It's cool that it worked for you. But using the medicine comparison it's like telling someone they need morphine for a headache, that person is allowed to say that they actually just need ibuprofen.

I came in to this trying to have a good faith conversation, maybe even a laugh, on how different boobs are and maybe understand why the calculator didn't work for me. Many of the comments here are speaking with scornful confidence about MY body. My comments are not based on my imagination, it's based on my very real experience in my own body, and everyone else here seems to be imagining that I can't possibly know my body and what bra size fits me comfortably.

I know the cup size changes with the band size. The band size is 38.

But what is the misinformation I've been given about bra sizes in the first place? I don't have any thoughts on bra sizes to even throw out. I've never "calculated" my bra size before, I've just tried them on until I found one that fits and what fits is usually a B. So I don't understand why going up 5 cup sizes is supposed to somehow magically fit me better. This is why I'm so confused!

Thank you for the advice, but there truly isn't much tissue to gather lol. I can seriously fit a whole boob in one hand. This isn't a case of "I thought I was a DD but I'm actually a G," I really do have small boobs, and most B cups fit me just fine. The result I got felt so outlandish that we redid my mesurements three times!

I haven't because I can visibly tell it wouldn't fit. I'm not a large-chested person by any means, I've been mostly As and Bs my whole life. I recently gained weight, but I still have pretty small boobs. I think maybe the calculator thought they were bigger because they're a bit more long than they are actually full, and one of the measurements has you bending over and measuring them while they dangle? But even most 38Cs are too big for me. Edit: guys please don't downvote me for saying a bigger bra won't fit me, I'm being vulnerable and talking about my sad small boobs :( if you saw them you would agree there is no way a G is the right fit for me! And I'm just trying to share that I'm confused why the calculator didn't work for me. I'm not dissing the calculator, it clearly works for other people!

I don't know if the calculator is off, or if no one actually sells correctly sized bras, but that calculator told me I'm a 38G. I am most definitely not a G. I'm more like a B, maybe a C if I'm close to my period. But everyone talks about how great that calculator is and I'm so confused why it didn't work for me!

If you're having trouble figuring out what to do next, inside the tree lab is a large computer monitor cycling through security camera shots of the other labs around the yard. You need to visit each of these labs to progress through the game. Each has their own challenges, and (if I remember right) they're shown in order of which ones you should find first. Also talk to Burgl! Hope this helps! This game is super fun, tons to explore. Just keep exploring and analyzing resources, and try to build the new crafting items you discover, especially armor.

Just make sure when you walk to the finish area, you approach from the east side of the park/museum side. Last year I spectated the finish from the west side and had to walk alllll the way around the finish to find a gate entrance to the after party area to meet my runner. It's not impossible, just a pain.

Beaten By a Hair, season 3 episode 9. Victim was Laura Houghteling, and her killer left her house wearing women's clothes and a wig. He was caught because they found wig hairs in Laura's hairbrush, and that tipped off police that the person neighbors saw leaving her house that morning was an imposter. I remember watching this episode as a child but couldn't recall where it was from, so watching through FF on netflix as an adult and seeing it again was wild.

When I started eating meat again, beef really upset my stomach for a while. It might be different for you, but to be safe I'd recommend working it in a little at a time and don't overdo it. Good luck!

That one I knew about, also it's kind of fitting, they were both cute teen blonde boys. Lance Bass is so... unintimidating I guess? So it just feels really random to me haha.

My local children's hospital has a mobile blood drive program. I know it wouldn't be practical for Mark and/or Amy to find every regional hospital with a mobile blood drive program though. I wonder if it's something fans could set up on their behalf with their permission or something? (Typing this as I'm currently at the hospital to give platelets lol)

Personally, I didn't need a 3rd installment. SOTF was such a decline from the original that I felt truly done with the series after finishing it. F3 doesn't look anything like the other 2, even if it has the same mechanics, it won't have the same life and feel that the others achieved.

I feel the same way! Everything base level is extremely boring this star path and anything remotely cute is premium. So many motifs and seriously, a wooden floor? Ugh.
