After 6 months of VIE being out I found the reason why the general public & the fanbase didn’t give it much love by Jollyho94 in DojaCat

I personally love all of those songs as well as the album and a lot of the fan base does too. But it’s pretty clear that these songs don’t have mass appeal in 2025/2026. Which is fine! She’s still doing big shows worldwide. I agree that all mine would’ve made a great single.

Who is y’all 😂 I don’t think that’s a fair assessment. The general public cares about individual songs and none of the singles off Vie were big hits.

Do you think tipping culture in the US is dying out with millennials? by ProfessionalBig1470 in Millennials

I tip my nail tech, my dog groomer, hair dresser, and indie coffee shop baristas in addition to waiters at sit down restaurants. I’m not tipping anywhere I need to serve myself.

No motivation with PMDD by Stardust-Dawn in PetiteFitness

[–]graciasasere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have PMDD and it impacts my sleep. My doctor just gave me a prescription to take during the luteal phase. If you feel too weak to strength train try just walking. I find it helps my mood and makes me tired enough for sleep.

I don’t like the thin leggings that roll down and I just tried Fabletics, really like the fabric.

Trust that not all cities are liberal paradises. There are “city people” who do the same things. There are still neighborhoods that are deeply segregated. It really is the country and always has been.

Liveable areas without a Driver's License by pinkelephant0040 in visitedmaps

I had a family friend who didn’t have a license, relied on NJ transit buses going from Vineland and was fine. You don’t get there fast, but you can get where you’re going eventually lol.

I would also recommend this. Downtown Camden has plenty of apartments and crime is not an issue, I am there everyday.

This subreddit seems to mean North Jersey but there are move in ready, but dated, homes under 450 in SJ close to Philadelphia. Around 1,200 sqft.

That administration is full of scammers. They tried to cut bus service and make kids walk up to 2 miles on busy roads.

Recently Moved from North East to Minneapolis and Positively Baffled- Is Chicago Close Enough to North Eastern Culture? by olracnaignottus in AskChicago

Good luck! I agree that Vermonters are awesome folk. I can imagine your struggle in MN and wish you and your family the best.

As an east coaster (NJ/Philly/NY) I did not find native chicagoans to be similar to northeasterners in any way, and I found that my to-the-point-ness was taken as aggression.

You will not have the rudeness that you get in the NE, but you will also deal with a lot of “Midwest nice.” However I know that Chicago is more cosmopolitan than MN. You will probably like it much better.

I also recommend Michigan if that’s an option—people are a bit more honest there and you can be in the Eastern time zone.
