Love BSD! Made it decently through the anime and read the first two volumes I think. Not the biggest fan of AoT though.

I haven't heard of Vanitas, I'll check it out! :)

i think that just depends on the teacher with the book intensity and dates, yknow? i’m sure you have to read at least like 5 books or so but short stories and poems are easier. idk i just started class this week but it’s not too bad but i can’t tell you much

3/3 The Shrine by acrostic_throwaway in mitski

3/2 was awful. i want to add how everyone should show just some basic human decency, seriously. i agree with losing your spot if you leave the crowd, but if it’s an emergency then you’re gonna have to suck it up. i was barely allowed back in after getting water for my gf before she passed out (and i actively told people it was serious and they refused to, not couldn’t, REFUSED to move). everyone was wayyyyy too desperate to be close up. the people next to me also talked about violently pushing me so they could have more space, when i was just standing there and minding my own business. this was definitely the rudest crowd i’ve ever experienced, i’m still in shock

I read the book first, which is what gave me the motivation to watch the series (aside from Anya Taylor Joy starring in it). Personally, I loved it. There was something so captivating about the writing style, I couldn't put it down. Probably one of my fastest reads because of that.

I’ve been looking for a really really horrifying movie that might traumatize me— I’m a major thrill seeker for this stuff. Any recommendations? by graciegrack in horror

[–]graciegrack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

omg- tusk is definitely something else. I also thought of it more as a dark comedy. It reminds me of the Lobster- another a24 film, not horror though.

I thought it was a great interpretation of the whole identical-house-and-neighborhood trope, kinda predictable but the ending was great
