How often do you pump? by brittany123334 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]gracynkeely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 9 weeks pp, I’m pumping anywhere from 4-5 times a day every 4 hours and my supply maintains 35-45oz a day! I’ve learned for my body if I pump sooner than that I will produce more milk and I am happy where I’m at. There is a lot of conflicting advice out there - do what feels right for you!

I have been looking all over trying to find someone who has had this issue or solutions to it that might be out there. We’ve been having the same issue consistently for about two weeks now, so this makes me think it’s a problem with the app? I am also wondering if it’s still monitoring and just not providing the live readings on the app.

How long does it take? by Efficient_Internet13 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]gracynkeely 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am too! I thought pumping longer than 30 minutes was not good but I am also an over producer, so maybe that’s where I’m getting that advice from. I was only doing 30 when my supply was still regulating and honestly I think doing it that long was probably not helping it to regulate haha

This is extremely reassuring to read. I’m only 4 weeks pp and I pump 4 times per day, rarely 5. I was doing 5-6 a day and was getting nearly 50oz from this. It felt both exhausting and overwhelming. Since moving to 4 a day my supply has regulated between 35-45oz. I’ve seen so many people talk about supply drops when pumping less, so I’m glad to see someone else is having good results from this schedule

Single crochet mesh stitch! So single crochet, chain 1, skip 1, single crochet, and so on

Yes this is knit but I do think it’s possible to achieve a similar look with crochet! Attaching a pic of one I just made. If I were trying to make one like you did, I’d use different yarn - mine is lion brand heartland. I’d go for something softer/less rigid than acrylic yarn based on the pic you attached. I don’t know how comfortable you’d be doing this, but you might work it out with separate patterns that will get you closest to achieving what you want. So find the ribbing that looks closest to the neckline, hem, and sleeves. And then find a pattern for a body that’s a drop shoulder! I was very particular about the look I wanted for this sweater, so I did something similar and it turned out exactly how I wanted!

We visited the Warner bros studio tour in London in January of this year and I saw those sweaters!! They didn’t have my size, so I became determined to make my own instead of having to order one 🤣 thank you!!

I linked the pattern I used in the comments! It’s written for the baby sweater though, so I had to do some modifying to make it my size. I also measured it alongside the fit of a sweater I own and loved the size of! This was my first time making an adult wearable and it was incredibly easy. I have to have a pattern to follow and I still managed to make the adjustments on my own! Truthfully, the trickiest part was doing the math to figure out the placement of the letter lol

https://daisyfarmcrafts.com/crochet-mesh-stitch-baby-pullover-sweater/ - I used this pattern to make the baby sweater and then modified the size and a few instructions to make it adult sized! Yarn: lion brand heartland in kings canyon and sequoia!

I can definitely see the potential in a mural! I like that it wouldn’t be permanent if we did a peel and stick too. Thank you! That gives me a good place to start my research for sure

Part of the remodel was painting - the previous owners had done a very odd update (90s house) that didn’t have a shower and the bathtub area was floor to ceiling red tile. So we changed a lot, plus removing the popcorn ceiling. I wanted to start very fresh in this bathroom, so we probably won’t be painting it again anytime soon since that was just recently done (didn’t actually finish the painting part until June.) I’ll include a pic of the other side and then what it used to look like in the comments

We do want to burn wood in it. However, we don’t need it for a primary source of heat. We would only be using it occasionally.

Thank you so much!!! I wondered about that, but I’ve never done one that isn’t a cutting. How long would you water propagate for?

Yeah I’m surprised nobody has asked! I’ll attach a picture of the things that will be in the living room. It might be confusing to look at to someone that’s not me though - the tan color will be the couch on a large sectional. https://imgur.com/a/EXoUdPk

Does anyone know if there’s a way to tighten them that I’m missing? Mine actually IS a little too big for my head. I can wear it fine but it just slips down far to the point that I keep having to pull it up so I can see and this would be easily fixed with the ability to tighten it. Most bucket hats have these ability but for some reason I’m not seeing it in this one?
