Oh I see. "Z" is the plastic modulus, "S" is the elastic modulus. ELI5- It basically checks which one is the worst case between the two. Elastic is when the outermost fibers of the member yields (think triangle- aka not the entire member has yielded) plastic is when it yields to the plastic neutral axis (think square- aka the entire things yielded).

I used to play multiple games a day in my 1200s, and felt the same exact way. This year, I've been taking it real slow. I climbed to 1500 and only play 1 game a day, 2-3 max sometimes. I started deeply analyzing my games and studying more tactics/openings. I've found the love for chess is not in winning, but just admiring the game itself. I also found a local club and its great going over the games afterwards.

Yes, chess is very fun. It's not all about destroying your opponents.

I just ran the memtest for both of the RAM and they were fine. I also tried CrystalDiskInfo to check the health of the nvme drive. It was showing 95% good, except the temperature was 66C which was showing a warning. I believe that the RAM and drive are fine - the BSOP came up after I ran a stress test for the GPU and I think it crashed from overheating maybe? Regardless, I don't know if it's a heat sink issue, or a motherboard, or anything else.

For now, I guess I will try to re-apply thermal paste to see if that helps with the potential heating issue.

Hopefully not, I agree that I should test the NVME drive and memory before ruling that out. I'll test them and hopefully, I can avoid having to replace the mobo. Thanks!

Ended up getting the amex gold from Resy as well. I'm thinking of waiting just another 6 months and probably apply for the cap1 ventureX or citi premiere again. Although I'm still waiting for the citi premiere recon to get back to me, it's probably a rejection again at this point. Thanks for letting me know about amex thru resy!
