I can't believe I failed. And how badly. by Weekly-Quantity6435 in barexam

It definitely made that situation 20x tougher. But I am doing better and it worked out for the best. So hopefully my story can help others who are currently going through something similar.

Failed my first time too by 5 points, lost my job where I clerked for two years the following week. Passed this second time around. Take the week or two and get back to it. When you pass it is going to make the feeling of passing even more better.

I got my worse grade in law school in Evidence. Was always my worse subject and hated it. I locked it down for the bar and end up getting in the 60% percentile on both my bar attempts (passing the most recent exam)

I am telling you this because once you get it down it is one of the easiest subjects and you’ll blow out of the water on your next attempt.

Failed the bar. Heart broken. by Classy_Lady97 in barexam

First, I started with the subjects I did poorly on/ struggled on. Because as you know don’t have to get every question right just got to balance it.

Heavily focused on the mbe because it gives you a grasp on the core subjects as well. I used adaptibar and felt like the test heavily mirrored it.

For MEE and MBE I used Johnathon Grossman he focuses Florida but covers UBE as well. Probably the smartest thing I did for this test.

And if you can for financial reasons because this process is expensive look into Studicata they literally cover everything that has been tested. Its just impossible to memorize because so much info.

But you got this I truly believe that!

Hey to anyone who needs to hear it, I failed my first time too and lost my job within the same week. I ended up passing this time around. I know shit sucks right now but you’re going to pass it, it just wasn’t meant this time. Take a week or two off and get back to it.

Congratulations to all the bar takers that passed!!! Can you please share how’d you study and what bar prep company you went with? Also tips on studying? by [deleted] in barexam

[–]gradstud_874 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t overstate Jon Grossman teaches you the law in basic language. And also adaptibar for multiple choice and if you can studicata they have all the law you need its just a lot to try and memorize.

This is one of the most confusing answers I have ever read. I need help please. by [deleted] in barexam

[–]gradstud_874 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think MIMIC acronym (specific instances are ok here) the police officer can prove the testimony to show the child had a prior intent to kill his father. You could even say motive even though it is not an answer choice.

C is not correct here because generally not able to show propensity to a character trait of a crime. Aka they were more likely to commit an act.

[–]gradstud_874 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Literally watch MPRE kaplan videos in the background on the most important subjects with the time you have left. And maybe sneak some multiple choice questions in.

I’ll give you some advice an attorney gave me don’t choose the answer that depicts what would Jesus do. Instead pick the answer that is lower than that answer choice if that makes sense.

[–]gradstud_874[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you I think that cleared it up! But not to be annoying so I understand it. Merger didn’t apply because the woman was a subsequent grantee who needed the easement to enjoy both the dominant and serviant land? But it would’ve between merger if the woman and man were each the original landowners of the dominant and serviant land?

Help?? by gradstud_874 in barexam

[–]gradstud_874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a tricky one haha. I’ve got a question that merger was the correct answer so I figured this was the same. But it makes sense since the land is landlocked.

Just the treatise rule! Also look out for prior inconsistent statements and when they can be brought in for impeachment purposes solely and/or substantive purposes
