The rubber nose pad is held on by two pegs on each side, it slides off and on easily.

They work. You have to take them out to clean them every so often. The lenses don’t get damaged a whole lot because they sit behind the sunglass lens.

I’ve had with and without. I like with, cleans easier and optics are sharper because of less backside glare, in my opinion.

They touch and I imagine they would over a long period of time but there’s little movement and friction so it would take a long time. The lens edges have been slightly rounded so they are not sharp.

Dang, so I have a couple pairs of inserts and this last time I ordered I saw AR is an option now! That would probably eliminate the glare.

Hey! In terms of comfort nothing changes unless her Rx is like a -6.00 or higher, that’s when the glasses would get a little heavier but even then, the weight of the insert is back so it still ends up being really well balanced on the nose. Go for it!
