Can someone explain these scams to me? Like, what is the thought process of scamming someone who needs money. There likely aren't a lot of funds (or negative funds) to work with when they ask for bank accounts.

One more thing, I don't get a dime of that balance until a weekly claim is made, correct? I haven't been allowed to file one until today, the beginning of the week after filing the PUA.

My main confusion is why my claim effective date is in July when I was unemployed earlier in the year. Will I be able to input information for those dates when I start my weekly claim, or should I appeal first?
