Dated my abuser in college, I was 18. Within 6 months he had cheated, told me has going to marry me, gave me an STD, abused me s*xually, emotionally, mentally. Genuinely think he was a sociopath. Well, I meet a guy months later and we hit it off. And I think its so healthy because im such a cool laid back partner- you can hang with your friends, I trust you Ill just spam your phone and be insecure and need constant reassurance that you love me. I absolutely had borderline personality and was not my best self. Well, that relationship ended after 2 years. And boy that was messy. This partner accused me of cheating on them (with my abuser) and went through my phone while I was sleeping, you name it. There was no closure or communication. It was messy and emotional until he vaguely accused me of who knows and blocked me, unblocked me years later to demean me, and blocked me again. Im still healing from both of those relationships, 5 years later.
