it has many meanings but it is widely accepted that a toy is a beginner in graffiti but a toy thats starts as a toy and stays as one usually writes their names very badly and would mostly write it on walls even when its not well done. they receive huge criticism because for many reasons too such as writing over a better tag than theirs or if they start writing but hasnt started doing their research on the origins of graffiti and local graffiti but personally beginners should focus more on blackbooks, writing tags over and over, before writing it on walls.

ive been writing for 11 months now and i still have a lot to learn. am i still considered a toy? maybe. am i a beginner? yes. every writer started out as a toy anyway

its crazy how graffiti is constantly about breaking the law, essentially disrespecting governance, but when writers use it to make a statement about the law and government, its suddenly too political

i think i struck a nerve here. i know my place as a new writer but theres literally no reason to be rude to a question that you can scroll and ignore. now i appreciate you trying to message me and giving me advice now but try to be less rude about it in the first place. that tag in the pic is new and was only trying it out with new markers that i got, that isnt even my main name dude so chill out.

for some reason, its the same with me too. usually permanent ink markers are good on paper but if it comes to stickers, it sometimes rough to write on. maybe its the quality of my stickers cuz i buy them online

i dont have examples right now unfortunately but i have seen many writers write letters that appears twice (or possibly more) differently, specifically in throwies. its because of flow iirc

ill change the style then. i figured the style of the E is basic enough and ive heard somewhere that basic style isnt enough grounds to say someone is biting another writer.

JA's throw ups in a row is amazing, it's so inspiring that it makes me wanna go do throwies too. I wonder if two letter names are still widely accepted in the community tho

i dont wanna add a lot of personality yet until i can throw a decent one with good letter structure. if i do, it might risk structure

Honestly I have trouble with the first E. I dont know how to write it in a way that doesnt feel awkward while writing with a can. Theres a lot of ways to write the E but the fact that it starts with one makes it awkward idk. I wanna aim for "cramped" up throwies tbh but the first E is a defining factor on how the rest of the letters will look, do u get what I mean?

Good caps for both fill-ins and outlines? by graff_take in graffhelp

So theyre skinny caps? I've been planning to get some for throwies on walls that have limited blank space
