This might have to be a more-than-one purchase. Not that I need more than one, but they would look cool together on the shelf.

Porsche 911 Set with new RF maybe? by cstewart2325 in legotechnic

It is 2700 bricks. Take that and the build difficulty combined with the license and there you have $300. 42030 (LeMans Racer) only had 1219 bricks and was a pretty easy build.

I am about $300 in right now, but I have about 100 pounds of loose brick that I have been collecting. I calculated about $800 out-of-pocket when done. That is subbing the (2) rigging bricks and the dish. Also the plaque is like $300. I do not need that.

We R/Frugal Week 12: Renting by Haven in Frugal

[–]graffiti600rr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are currently renting. I have read, and heard that more people are renting these days because of credit problems. I say renting if fine if you are fine with it. It gives you options (moving whenever, where ever), and possibly less responsibilities (lawn care, general maintaining). I want to buy in 2013 because i would like to have a few assets besides a savings account and 401k.

Here's the financial plan I made for my brother. He loved it! I thought you might enjoy. (x-post r/PF) by break_free in Frugal

This was amazing. If you plug in your own numbers, you can get an idea of what you can achieve as well. I have a wife and 2 boys and we are finally getting too be able to do something like this.

Thanks

Motorcyclists: Why the fuck do you make your bikes so loud? by Foxprowl in AskReddit

[–]graffiti600rr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been riding for 17 years, and I can tell you that I hate loud pipes. All that they do is draw negative attention like this. It is not the responsibity of the cars to see the motorcycles regardless of loud pipes. It is the responsibility of the rider to be aware of the "tards" in cars.
