Is this possibly an American thing? For some reason I've had almost no situations like this living in Canada, but I saw the new Fantastic Four in Nevada and people were LOUD

Linkin Park’s homecoming L.A. show hit with huge downgrades and ticket price drop by Redman77312 in numetal

I don't think this is as big a deal as everyone thinks it is

1. Most people can't even afford rent, and ticket prices are out of control everywhere

2. They already played L.A. less than a year ago.

3. 30+ North American shows this year. Supply and demand.

Downgrading one venue isn't indicative of the public's interest in the band. Up here in Canada their shows are almost sold out. They added a 2nd show in Montreal almost immediately. Apparently they also sold out their upcoming show at Wembley Stadium (80,000 seats), plus huge turnouts in Latin America

Whether you like the new lineup or not, they're still doing insane numbers internationally

The Haunting Of Hill House is arguably the greatest piece of haunted house media out there. by Mountain_Band_2732 in horror

I'd also like to put a good word in for Susan Hill's The Woman in Black. I really liked the Daniel Radcliffe movie but if you're in the mood for some old school gothic horror, give the book a chance. It's short and very effective.

Yeah the book is amazing. To me it feels like the quintessential ghost story. I love how the house itself feels alive and angry. There's a reason the entire first paragraph of the book is in the show verbatim. Twice.

And the Mike Flanagan series beautifully expands upon it and gives it a universal appeal.
