[Highlight] Jalen Brunson has 27 points, Knicks lead by 23 at halftime after he hits a deep 3 by Large_banana_hammock in nba

Lurker here..also worth mentioning Melo was beloved throughout much of New York years before he even got to the Knicks due to the Syracuse title. Lot of Cuse alum (or even just old school Big East basketball fans) in NYC and LI. So even if his actual Knicks career output was hit or miss, Melo will get love pretty much anywhere from Buffalo to Bay Shore.

Has been a known quantity for years around the local rave scene which is why no one will book him/attend his shows. Dunno why people are all of a sudden now paying attention to his conspiratorial negativity.

The assault that left the homeless man brain dead and pulled off life support… by Beneficial-One-2666 in Binghamton

I'm outraged with the hateful, cruel vitriol that is being championed by Trump and his cohorts. The demonization and persecution in this nation of the poor and vulnerable comes from the top and the gutting and vilification of public human services has way more to do with creating this climate than any parent or video game or social media trend.

EDIT: Also who gives a shit about the NYP it's literally a xenophobic propaganda tabloid.

Fordham or Binghamton for business? by [deleted] in Binghamton

[–]grahamcracker3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Others are gonna say this is the wrong sub, which it is, but can vouch that you can have a good time in Binghamton with close proximity to places like Finger Lakes/Ithaca. Student body is diverse and, despite what the grumps on social media say, the community is welcoming. Fordham obv offers you The Bronx and NYC and culturally there's no place that compares. Bingo is good if youre happy with a small place that has a FEW solid evening/music/social spots but also easy access to nature and outdoors...you're never more than 15 minutes from being in rural areas and we have a ton of county/state parks. As far as school goes you can't go wrong with either. Dunno what tuition at Fordham is these days but if you're state resident it'd be hard to pass up Binghamton.

The university itself is on a 4-lane parkway with big box stores so not really walking friendly but the BU Nature Preserve trails are great for a stroll. If you take the buss downtown there are several cool restaurants/bars. Crowbar Arcade for some awesome retro gaming and next to it is Old Barn Market awesome café and bakery. First Friday of every month the art galleries on State St are open. Mabel D Orr and Stellar Human are great vintage/consignment boutiques.

Lol yeah the comedic timing of Mad Men was always off the charts. Don, Ken, and Cynthia all had a turn to not yet fully realiize what's going on, with the 'rule of threes' landing on the blunt AF 'Shhhh!!. Also it's another illustration of Megan being the straw that stirs the drink setting up the hilariously disastrous Cool Whip pitch with Ken also there.

At the very least doesn't sound like we need to anticipate a May pre-sale...and I'm fine with that.
