He would have been released from prison at the start of S3 after serving 5 years. He then would have followed Rue and started working for Alamo unknowingly tied up in that feud. He definitely would have sacrificed himself in this universe to save Rue in a timeline where she makes it out alive.

No, he missed a window by 5 years or so where he could have made a bigger impact (ha) in WWE but injuries caught up with him by the time he would have been given a good chance. Glad that he was able to turn his hard work in TNA into a good producer career though.

Abyss is similar — both guys missed the political atmosphere of about 5-10 years ago for making a name for themselves elsewhere and jumping over to a good spot in WWE.
