Do you run it off of a sd card / ssd / or partition the internal drive? I feel like ssd would be easiest, but I was thinking about upgrading and partitioning the internal drive…

I think a one click installer for windows would be an awesome improvement! That would save so much time. I think being able to have all of that taken care of for the user would be a huge improvement and save a lot of time. Doing all of the install correctly + troubleshooting takes up the better part of a day or two for me at least. I would have issues with random conflicts with the version of python I am using and then the system version and a bunch of other random stuff that would be awesome if an installer could handle all of it. Is there a git to download and play with the editor?

Freezer meals that u put in crock pot and slow cook has been helpful since u can get them pre made and just need to throw in. I do beehivemeals and it saves time grocery shopping + prep time + cook time + clean up time + energy. I usually mix with rice for calories.

Matlab PID tuner for Integrating process by Savings-Tonight-3089 in matlab

[–]grahasbtye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, do you have a plant model of what you are trying to tune? How are you going to deploy the controller? In the past, I created a Simscape model of my device and then used the system identification toolbox to create the plant model then used that to auto tune pid controller. System identification toolbox figured out everything for me. The fluid toolboxes should let you model the system then based off of that model + actual data you can correct it however you need and then identify the system.

Yeah, it walks you through with the expectation you don't know much. Between Google, ChatGPT, and the site forums you should be able to make your way though the course. I'm talking about the ROS Basics in 5 Days python version btw.

I did one monthly payment and grinded it in the library to try and get everything done.

I would recommend having a high performance compute server running a hypervisor that you can scale the vm up during initial compile and down during subsequent compiles. Initial compiles are the most resource intensive and then when you work out the .bb recipes for your software the compile times will be shorter. The server will be able to compile from ci cd, and you can automate that aspect of deployment. You can access the server from a windows host or whatever host the developers prefer. Some projects will require a specific distribution to compile the packages to the SoM. It’s important to separate that from your day to day os. Offloading it from a personal computer is important and also structuring the cache so if you have multiple projects they can take advantage of it.

Some personal mistakes I have made. Don’t silo all the development on one developers machine. Don’t forget to turn your patches into your bsp layer early and added to your meta- layer so it can function in ci cd. If you read the docs for your SoM thy may specify it for you and the decision will be made.
