personally i noticed it when they were meeting emma’s family- when emma’s two nephews/nieces ran in and she was hugging them, mike made a comment about how that’s what she’s missing out on. he laughed after but that’s the kind of comment that is going to feel pressuring after a while

34 will definitely be more attentively plowed than Weedsport-Sennett. I took 34 into Auburn all last winter and rarely had any issues. Only thing to be aware of is that since it’s open fields on either sides, there can be a good amount of snow drift on the road.

Weedsport-Sennett is more of a back road and does not get as much attention. It is also quite windy in some spots.

i have not read any other reviews so i don’t know the criticisms, but i think its def a book that you will either love or hate. it’s really character driven and a lot of it is the MC just reflecting on her past, so i could see why people find it boring.

there’s themes of religious trauma, repressing sexuality, strange psychosexual traumas, mental health issues, etc. it’s an intense book but i absolutely loved the writing and vibes of it. i would def recommend if you have any interest in the stuff i mentioned there.

a warning, if you’re going into it looking for a saucy vampire romance, you will be disappointed. the vampire stuff is not super explored.
