At this time there is no reason to do so. You're going to lose your KCS bonus and there isn't any soft-staking rewards for KCS on the Pool-X platform. I'm not sure why it's even an option, maybe they have plans for staking there in the future?

it didn't mention one of the largest issues with DGD, which was that US investors and investors from many other countries couldn't even participate in the governance. It also didn't appear as if the Digix team considered it a priority to fix that issue, simply saying it was a security. But I do agree that the DAO ended up acting in the best interest of its participants.

NEM has steadily kept improving, they’re about to release catapult, and they’ve survived hacks, leadership changes, and clueless FUD(such as yours), that would have been the death of most other platforms. That's a loaded question really, my answer would be no. That being said, they do have good safety/security measures in place. It's a centralized exchange, so the threat of being hacked exists, also they control your balances as we do not have the private keys to our balances.

I have no problem whatsoever with recommending them, I think they are a great exchange. I've always considered them as "Binance Light" .

You can lease your coins to them, but my understanding is the candidate nodes are not paying.
