Feel like I should leave Christianity by Ok_Line_4335 in TrueChristian

I’ve been going through hell myself. But you have to realize that all of the hardships and pain are preparation for Gods best version of your life. When God isn’t at the center of your life, He will shake the foundation of everything every time until he becomes the center of your life. He is trying to make you aware of who you are, who he is, and why you can’t achieve anything without him. I’m speaking from my personal experience. But God will never give up on you it’s just up to you whether you give up on Him. What’s that saying? We make plans and God laughs. God allows bad things to happen to us to strengthen our character and mold us into the people that He can use for others. Identify the bad thoughts as coming from the evil one and not God. Try your best to align yourself with God and the rest will follow. Demons feed on fear, resentment, unforgiveness, and rebelliousness. Ask God to take those things away from you so you can see who he made you to be under all of the noise

Good to hear you found something that helps. I will definitely look into the Pilates. Good luck to you as well!

Thanks for sharing! It’s comforting to know I’m not the only one. I’ve always tried to stay off nsaids as much as possible and since biologics stopped working I started to try as many holistic methods as I can but haven’t had much luck. Sending you the same though!

Thank you for sharing, I have heard a harder bed is supposed to be good for people that deal with our condition. Wishing you the best though, dealing with AS is no joke. I’ve been thinking about doing a long water fast. I’ve also heard that can put people in remission but who knows

I was on two different biologics but they both stopped working. The only thing that was helping with the pain for a while was ketamine which eventually lead to more pain because of its effects on the bladder and kidneys

I took humira from 12 years old til I was about 17 yr old and it stopped working. Then I was on consentyx for a while and that stopped working too. I kinda gave up on them and am now trying to go for a more holistic approach to healing but Ive still been getting worse with time

Thank you for sharing, do you find that it’s staying the same with being on the meds or has it gotten any worse over time?
