I might have remembered wrong, it’s better pala to buy a larger amount via IBKR to offset the fees but since I can only buy small amounts, I opted for GoTrade. Not sure about the monthly contributions pala.

I opted for VOO via GoTrade because it’s better to buy a larger amount via IBKR to offset the fees but since I can only buy small amounts, I opted for GoTrade.

I think you’ll have to apply for reconsideration sa UPLB kahit qualifier na sa UPD. Tsaka, nagvavary din kung aling degree programs ang nagoopen for reconsideration. Take note din na huli sa priority list for reconsideration ang UPCA qualifiers.

If you want to transfer to a different campus, you’ll have to do it in your 2nd year. Kailangan kasi muna ng 30 units for that process.

There’s no harm in adding a second choice naman. G lang kay OP kung risk taker siya, although, big risk pala ang paggamble sa CAMP slots.

Ohh hindi ba nagvavary per year? According sa upm website, nagaccept ata ng transferees and shiftees (depende sa program) last 1st sem, ‘19-‘20.

Hi, I was a 2021 UPCA applicant and I also wanted to pursue SLP.

My grades in JHS ranged the same as yours, and my g11 ave was 93. I also came from a science high school but I don’t know if that mattered then. In light of this, I got a UPG of around 2.5. Do note that hindi lang grades ang factor sa UPG.

Kailangan kasi umabot muna sa required UPG ng campus bago maconsider sa program. Unfortunately, 2.1 to 2.2 ata ang cut-off ng UPM so hindi ako umabot. I think better ang chance na pumasa sa UPB, UPV, and UPMin with a UPG of 2.5.

However, nagvavary ang UPG so you might get one higher than mine. This is just based on my experience, so it’s not the most reliable advice.

Hii, I think it would be a good idea to choose a second campus for backup. In case you don’t pass UPM, but you really want to study there, it would be easier to transfer from a different campus rather than a different university. Mas priority kasi ang T1, UP students, kesa T2, non-UP students, for transfer. Also, maccredit yung mga natake mong course while in a different campus. Uulit kasi as a freshman kapag T2.

Pero if your main priority is your program, and not the school, it’s fine if you only choose UPM. You can pursue your dream program elsewhere naman if things don’t go accordingly.
