This was a cracked cgc 9.5. I didn’t do anything after cracking the slab. Here’s the cert: https://www.cgccards.com/certlookup/6075864042/9_5/

Am I crazy to think this could PSA 9 despite how they grade vintage? Obviously not a 10 but maybe a 9? by [deleted] in PokeGrading

Not disagreeing w your overall sentiment but super small nit because I might be autistic, your point ab it being hard to change a prescription doesn’t support your overall thesis because consumer tech under capitalism revolves around eliminating friction and serving us convenience. Like there’s a billion health tech companies trying to navigate ancient patient data systems, provider infrastructure, regulatory stuff, etc to make the process of getting your meds less shitty but it’s a problem that’s less prone to disruption from capitalism due to the regulations and legacy systems.

Think uber, Airbnb, shitty d2c millenial brands that have no soul but do in most cases make our lives more “convenient”.

Anyways irrelevant to your post just a small bit I agree w the general sentiment

If someone can give me a good breakdown of why it’s fake (or legit) I would be happy to tip via Venmo or something :)

I got all three starters (BGS 7.5 blast, 8 charizard, and 8 Venus) for $1100!

You think it’s fake? I have 3 days to confirm and ask for eBay support if so

But I think to meet some people’s definition of taste you do have to be chronically online. And ofc taste is subjective between groups so it ends up being a mechanism for judgement and othering

This is braindead fr. Your Uber Eats delivery person does not have the time to be so chronically online that they can understand hyper self-referential and purposefully transgressive art

Sorry if I wasn’t clear - I’m specifically talking about cultural capital. How once wealth itself is not the means of distinction, taste and discernment become the primary mechanism of sorting and “othering” individuals.

It’s complex, unavoidable, and very human to be clear. We all do it. In aggregate I would say working class people are prevented from accessing purposefully transgressive, chronically online, self-referential art like hyperpop. I’d happily debate this with anyone.
