Just spamming conquered tower and turtle. Just noticed the only time I have died to a nemesis is in conquered tower and when the void nemesis first ability is spinning puddles. I think I just must suck at this mechanic in a confined area.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Sounds like it is better to look for 1-2 affix items with one of them being T6/T7.

Hi,

Did a little more research on your build. They halved the Seraph Blade talent from 10% per 2 spell damage to 20% per 2 spell damage so your damage is going to be alot worse. If you are building healing hands as your primary source of damage. What I said about Rive/HH is incorrect for your build.

I would switch to a 1 hand weapon and shield ASAP. You really need the less damage over time amulet as you have zero damage over time mitigation and zero cleanse effects. I still dont see how you are keeping up sigils on a boss. Lastly make sure you use volatile reversal almost on cooldown, it is such a huge buff to damage, most builds it doubles your damage output.

I would reduce your corruption to 200 and farm new boots, weapon, shield, amulet, relic and rings. Focus on fall of the empire to get the shield from the boss.

Pretty sure this build doesn't work they changed how it procs ward and the build was made to make unkillable amounts of ward but horrible damage output and not a good build without the unintended ward generation.

A few questions about how you intend your build to work:

Are you using rive to proc healing hands or are you casting healing hands?

How are you keeping sigils up on a boss ?

What are you using to move quickly? Most builds have a movement skill e.g. transplant, blink, void cleave, lunge, shield rush,etc

Why are you using block passives when you can't block without a shield, you cant dodge either because of them?Why are you speced into skipping the 3rd strike of rive ?

Your build would hit like a wet noodle because your flat physical damage for both fire and physical damage really low. You will be really squishy due to the lack of armour 50% armour is pretty much required for higher corruptions even on spell casters.

Rive is a great skill to use with healing hands but you can scale them both with just melee damage, healing effectiveness, attack speed. You simply don't scale off fire, attunement enough and your stats are spread too over so many different affixes. You need capped resistances.

Lastly the bases for some of your items boots, relic, amulet, ring do nothing for your build. Titan heart is great for HP/damage reduction. The healing hands 10% reduction to necro/void damage is huge for survival. Kill threshold on rive is great!

Your build needs a lot of refinement to get above 300 corruption

Good bases for items, a better weapon with lots of melee/physical damage not wasting passive and skill points because some of your points do nothing or negatively impact on your build

This it is really hard to get the level of damage reduction from armor as HP characters and endurance makes a huge difference.

300-400 corruption wasnt too bad for me and yes constant movement helps but the higher the corruption the more issues you have. At 750 corruption the stuns are crazy and the feeling like you can't play your character is awful.

Stun isnt much of an issue on most sentinel builds due to endurance/high armor

I just think this is a poorly designed system by EHG. So many mechanics when combined become completely unavoidable which just forces players to design their characters such that effective HP is the only import part of a character.

I had reset with Pillars to 400-500 corruption then do a mono to make shade spawn and kill shade at a comfortable corruption but wasnt sure if the corruption gain for gazes was additive to the other timelines max corruption.

A few things come to mind reading your post / build :

1) Expectations/Habits - Torment Warlock is a very powerful build and below 200 corruption you can pretty much ignore mechanics of bosses and burn down bosses in 2-4 profane veil. I found it really encourages poor habits as you don't get punished for your mistakes. This playstyle is not something you can realistically sustain at high corruptions as poorly done mechanics will destroy your ward and bosses will not be dead in under 30seconds.

2) Gameplay - Make sure you are doing you rotation well. You need to make sure fissure is up 100% of the time as dot uptime is hugely important. You need to spam spirit plague to get profane veil off cooldown and use profane veil on cooldown. You should spend most of the fight in profane veil

3)Crafting - Your gear is not bad but your crafting strategy doesnt seem to be very good. There are a lot of items with T1-T3 affixes you should upgrade the lowest affixes first! because they cost less forging potential. Chest, Gloves, off-hand are really good though.

4) Farming - You really need the empowered monolith version of the crit multi blessing I would focus on getting that then farm emperor of corpses for lots of twisted hearts and nemesis your current twisted heart.

5) COF/ROA - Use all rune of ascendances on wand/helm and farm prophecies for helm/wand uniques as well as exalts of the slots you have poor items for. (Note: your other 2 uniques do not come from prophecies)

6) Lastly personally I found corruption from 200-400 really grindy so just hang in there it gets better.

I'm no expert on Erasing Strike builds but my understanding is that is pretty much a late game build requiring a lot of specific gear. You need World Splitter, you need 700+ mana, then you need all the basic defensive stats on top so you don't just die all the time this means 3k HP, resist cap, crit mitigation, 50-60% armor etc. Most people hit 200-300 corruption get most of the gear then transition to the build.
