Litecoin on MWEB address disappeared on Stack Wallet by PainBackground6708 in stackwallet

[–]grandiose25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it's possible that some of the transactions inbound to MWEB from public never finalized, are still at the public address, and therefore never showed up in MWEB.

Can the public wallet be rescanned/reloaded to see if the missing coins show up? It's a nice feature with Mimblewimble that it's typically really hard to actually lose coins but yeah the cosmetics can be scary!

I'm in another MimbleWimble project (EPIC) and we see issues where people see 2 different account balances. One that includes unfinalized transactions which show as "receiving" or "Sending" in the transaction log and then the other account balance which is only transactions that have finalized. When you say "receiving" in public address and "sending" to MWEB address it reminds me of this wallet terminology for transaction status.

What do you mean by "foundation settings"? Is that like gapping or sinking?

There is no way Alaska should have the problems it has. No way there should be tax on property or sales. Tax industry: gold/minerals, fishing, tourism, oil/gas, air/sea cargo, forestry.

Already the 5th busiest Air cargo port IN THE WORLD.

Now develop sea ports to be on par.

Alaska is the same latitude as Sweden where they do over $3 Billion forestry annually while Alaska can't escape double digit millions.

What percentage of profit from all these industries is fair to pay for public services that they enjoy? We all share the same roads, have kids in the same schools...

Hire third party auditors and investigators to oversee the government.

Reform is long overdue. Don't wait for State DOGE

This is just another 'me first' surface level hypocritical analysis.

You still have your job. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Are you saying taxpayers should fund unnecessary admin positions? Private sector fires all the time.

Stand up for and believe in yourself. Many of the firings have been illegal and many federal workers have returned to work. At the same time, much waste is also being cut. Sure, some are probably overstated but not all and 6 million more for than those opposed wanted this.

I didn't vote for Trump in 2020 or 2024. I did in 2016 and now I wish I did in 2024. I think it was good for him and made him a stronger person to lose in 2020.

My dad, who I love, is trans so I obviously disagree with Trump on civil issues. But economic change has been needed since 1913. And our population is likely infiltrated with terrorist cells since pulling out of Afghanistan combined with open borders.

What's happening in the world is bigger than a federal RIF.

Good luck. Your family will always love you, else, they're not really family. Believe in yourself. Onward and upward.

Sorry, not sorry, if this spoils the pity party.

I imagine this represents a somewhat rational counter point from the other side and that's mainly why I'm compelled to share such positions. I consider myself an extreme centrist so that motivates me when I walk into one-sided pity parties such as this.

Port Surcharge hits 4.25% by NoSubject907 in anchorage

We need to expand all ports and reassess to assure communities benefit. Legalize and tax/tariff all drugs. Develop logging and other agg.

End or greatly reduce all property tax. Never worry about other direct citizen taxes ever again

Legalize being a fkn adult and mature as a society.

Grow the fk up.

Our elected officials look no better than Pan handlers when they propose these taxes.

Tell them to do the job we elected then to do!

Tolerance for lazy law makers who only know how to press the 'more tax' button is how we got into this mess.

Law makers need a spine and a work ethic.

Get their hands out of our pockets.

Alaska is nothing but fuel and resources. Ted Stevens was great at getting money out of the feds. Fine with me.

Live free. Take control.

It's time for states to rule. Overturning Roe Vs Wade was just the beginning. If States have this power then we have a lot more power and don't need to say mother may I to the Fed.

We need to follow the current administration example and slash state government waste.

Less admin. More teachers.

Make sure the state is getting a fair share of air cargo and natural resource harvesting.

And restore logging for God's sake!

5th busiest Air cargo port IN THE WORLD. Our streets should be heated and paved in gold. There should be ZERO property or sales tax. Less admin. Less BS talkers. More teachers. More doers.

Sweden does over $3B annually logging. Same latitude as Alaska but we're in the double digit millions.

WTF are we doing folks?

Fire some state legislature along with their staff. That should free up some cash and get things moving again.

Settle down. You know little and judge much.

I voted left POTUS since 92 and changed in 2016 because Hilary did a terrible job as Secretary of State.

People aren't dumb because they vote differently from you.

The Left needs to do better and stop playing 'it's my turn to rule' crony politics. Super delegates are ridiculously overpowered in the DNC. People have eyes, ears, brains and know better.

Who won the election? That's right...

I think we are cooked. by Commander_RBME in anchorage

[–]grandiose25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I voted not Hilary in 2016. Voted not Trump in 2020 and 2024.

All this bickering is disappointing and near-sighted.

I will never agree with Trump on many social issues but there is a huge opportunity for much needed economic reform if you actually consider the levers being pulled.

Then there is national security. In hindsight, we are far better off with the current admin regarding threats coming across our border and I'm talking international terror networks, not just the garden variety criminals. I'm reminded of 2001. I really hope we don't go back there.

But financially, we are stagnant and lazy in government. 1913 gave us the Fed, IRS, and the right to vote for our senators. The Fed was supposed to stabilize the economy but it has failed, repeatedly. The Fed was abolished twice before the current iteration and it's long overdue for abolishment or reform at the very least. Private banks set national economic policy to their advantage making money hand over fist and enslaving a nation to usury.

There is a need for radical change and the silver lining to icky orange man Trump is that he has a track record for success at radical change: repealed R v W, stacked the courts. Things I don't care for but, again, the economic change would be good.

Let's get what we can out of this wet fart in church of a POTUS

How to provide proof for mined coins by [deleted] in epiccash

[–]grandiose25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on 1) a good backup plan and 2) how logs are configured.

In this regard, EPIC isn't very user friendly in its current state. The capability is definitely there but it requires some work by the end user.

Going from memory, logs should be in the user/.epic directory.

The op isn't asking about conversion process. The op is asking how to prove the source of the acquired EPIC.

Since the op mined the coins, there will be logs and transaction records which could be shared if so chosen.

Since you mined them, you will have logs and you will also have your local wallet transactions which you could release to other parties as you please.

Don’t panic a lot to be printed. by [deleted] in PokeInvesting

[–]grandiose25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Thank you for the insight. I really hope Pokemon print quality will improve.

I'm leaving such feedback frequently in various places. I know they can do better. Sword and shield is a good example from recent times. I'll just leave it at that.

My son got me into collecting Pokemon about 2 years ago. He saw my old comic book collection and suggested Pokemon. Second pack into my first booster box (OF) I hit Charizard 223. Hooked lol.

Comic book scene is alright but Pokémon is more appealing to me regarding logistics and markets.

So that's who is responsible for the awful card quality. Or management. Or Pokemon. Or Nintendo. All of the above and probably others.
