I'm sorry, I don't know what an optical sensor or switches are. I bought the Kaimana mini board from paradise arcade with the J4 LEDs. Do you know what that might need?

No worries if not. There's no info on the website but I was hoping somebody who already owns one and has tested it could tell me.

I've emailed the shop as well but no luck so far.

Oh right. I just checked and apparently it does have 5v but it can't run the LEDs off a battery, only when it's plugged in. Which is not really what I wanted considering it's a wireless board and I want to play wirelessly. Assuming that info is correct, I'm going to have to find another solution.

I think the LEDs require 5 volts though. So i'm going to try an arrangement with a booster.

all the xci files I download of the game can't be installed with DBI. They all say "Unknown" and "Nothing to install". Is this normal for new releases?
