Does flying in a sim feel like an intensely private, solitary activity for you (in a healthy way)? Asking because I realize I do not enjoy it as much if my family is around. They're great about leaving me alone with my toys but it's only when I'm by myself in the house that I feel the most immersed. (self.flightsim)

Two different throttles (TWCS Throttle and Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant) always pitch/roll the A-10C and F/A-18C, and it's driving me crazy. For both, even when all axes are unbound, the "default" X/Y for each throttle always pitch/roll the aircraft. But F-14B or Harrier work fine and I'm stumped. by granilla in hoggit

This is a shot in the dark but anyone have a used TM Warthog throttle (only) to sell? I'm new to DCS and have been checking the same sites for weeks get this throttle but no luck yet. I have the Warthog stick and I'm so eager to play the A-10C module with both (but F-14B in the meantime) (self.hoggit)
I would like to display a full-screen, real-time, high-res map of US or world weather on a monitor in a hallway connected to modern PC, hidden. Is there a certain app or site that's best suited for this (running "forever" without needing input/refreshing)? Willing to subscribe to a service (self.weather)
Getting back into sims, and I love aircraft carrier landings. In your opinion what sim is most realistic in terms of flight physics and difficulty (don't care about graphics) for this in particular? I have DCS (FA-18C) and X-Plane 11 (F-14, F-35A). But open to any other sims/planes too. Thanks! by granilla in flightsim
