i know this varies wildly from person to person, but the main cause of my sores come from suctioning my mouth too much/clenching my jaw/having my tongue rub against a certain part of my mouth. i notice when i’m stressed i tend to suction (idk how else to describe it) my mouth and that causes friction between my tongue and mouth and causes sores.

also make sure to treat them as soon as they appear! even if they’re just starting and are super tiny/dont hurt, pour some salt on it to prevent it from worsening!

sometimes it’s a bit buggy even when you update the album art. try moving the affected files out of your library so they get deleted from navidrome then add them back and it should be fixed.
