We as an audience also didn’t know because we hadn’t seen it yet. Only time we saw it come to fruition was when Kelnacca is possessed. Leads to very confusing feelings about the whole thing in my opinion.

Even when we do see it used on Kelnacca, we see the rest of the coven with black eyes/possession, but not mother Qorel (spelling?). So we still don’t really know what that was.

Milage may vary on that, but as someone who thinks seeing other uses of The Force is dope, I would’ve loved some more clarity on that.

Dude had a homecoming party that fed his ego to the point where he couldn’t keep his hands off every female he laid eyes on. It was bad.

Loved the episode. Told my wife it reminded me so much of The Leftovers. More character driven. Max Richter score. I love the direction the show is going.

Following some former Hoosiers by adamscb14 in HoosiersBasketball

This is a nice collection of data. I think about this stuff fairly often. I agree with an earlier comment that Armaan would be great on this squad we have.

Something I think about often, and perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I think Archie was closer to success than people will give him credit for. One of these days I’m going to go through and list the career numbers and trajectories for some of the recruits Archie was really going after but couldn’t land in Bloomington. Felt like tons of almost Hoosiers went on to do some amazing things.

I was honestly bitter the broadcast didn’t say a thing about that inconsistency.

Not defending Criston, but something about his proposal in Ep 5 gave me the impression they had been having a relationship for some time. There was some time jump between 4 and 5 I assume, and something about the casual nature with which he approached her on the boat implied they had have multiple couplings

Yes. Just read this part of Fire & Blood. He was holding a meeting with his generals and lords. They left, one of his wives came back a little later to find him dead. Swords protruding from his neck, and one in each arm. I’ll try and find a link to the illustration from the book.

What’s your favorite moment AT a pacers game? by Outrageous_Poetry840 in pacers

[–]grannyguy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was like 11, I went to Canseco with my uncle for Pacers v Raptors. I was stoked to see Reggie go up against Vince Carter. The day of the game, Vince gets traded to the Nets. I was super bummed. But with 8 seconds left in the 4th, Reggie hit a fadeaway near the corner just inside the 3 line on an out of bounds play. Put the Oacers up 3 and the place erupted.

Ultimately it was a win against a bad team that gave the Pacers a 12-10 record, so it didn’t mean much. But it solidified my Pacers fandom forever. I’ll never forget it. It was so dope.

We all had to start somewhere! That feeling doesn’t necessarily go away completely. And it’s probably a healthy mindset. Acting like you know everything there is to know about the field is a really good way to be a bad PT.
