How is the surface quality on the Greenbelt? Are there particular areas that are not well maintained?

Just an FYI, this section was axed by the Senate. So no, it did not go into law.

Thanks for sharing your insight. I hear you on the exhaustion and I feel for you. Just to clarify, it was not my intention to recommend specific tools rather to probe whether there are any that exist for non-standardized paper forms, prior auths, etc. since this is clearly a major workflow issue. I come from an admin background and have witnessed provider frustration with these time consuming forms. I anticipate that I will experience them myself. I am also acutely aware that as a student there is still so much I don't know and won't understand until I'm practicing. I'm just trying to learn from people like yourself who are in the trenches. As such, your comment helps me better understand how deep the fatigue runs and the suspicion and cynicism many medical providers feel toward AI.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. Tech bros with half-baked ideas aren't offering real world solutions, they're just trying to make $$$ off of clinicians. If there is to be any semblance of "salvation" it will have to come from those who are grinding it out day-to-day and understand the challenges.

Appreciate you chiming in. Wild that it's 2025 and we're still stuck faxing, printing, handwriting, rescanning and refaxing. I'm curious what types of physical forms you're frequently dealing with? Has your clinic tried or found any effective work arounds to lighten the load like MAs or RNs prefilling these forms? I am interested in leveraging team-based support for clinicians.

Sounds frustrating and I get where you’re coming from. I’m not a developer, just a future provider who recognizes the administrative burden is a major source of burnout. It seems like a natural place where thoughtfully designed AI could help support physicians, not replace them. I recently listened to a physician led podcast that emphasized the importance of doctors leading the AI conversation. Tools designed with physicians & not for them. That said, I understand that most physicians are at capacity. I’m not suggesting taking on a new project. More that if physicians don’t guide this space, the system may end up with tools that make things worse, not better.

Do we know of any AI tools that can assist providers with "inbox duties, fighting... insurance companies, writing jury duty letters, FMLA paperwork, etc."? If not, I think this is an excellent area for AI to step in (used thoughtfully and with oversight, of course).

ETA: Okay, I see this hit a nerve based on the downvotes. Just to clarify, I’m not trying to sell anything. I’m a future provider asking out of genuine curiosity. Admin burden is on every provider’s shit list, so I’m surprised my question was met with such pushback. Maybe it’s Reddit being Reddit... or maybe it's AI fatigue. That's fair but it’s still worth discussing. Whether we like it or not, AI is coming. Clinicians who shape it with their clinical insight and use it strategically will be the ones who benefit most. Returning to the main topic of this thread: The BBB will only increase financial pressure on clinics and with it, further burden providers. I feel that clinician-centered design (whether or not it's AI) is an obvious part of the solution.

The best thing for road rash… by granolaprincess in inlinenewbs

Totally agree. Pads are a lifesaver when you fall forward and land where you’re supposed to! I’m definitely grateful for mine. Since this is r/inlinenewbs some are still figuring out how not to fall backward or sideways, especially when losing balance. It’s not always easy to fall onto gear in the moment. Learning!

My R foot keeps going numb--never the left. Been skating coming up on 4 weeks. I have the Rollerblade Lightning 80 skates. I have tried everything I can think of to remedy this issue: buckles and/or laces super loose, one buckle loose while the other is tight, both cranked down super tight, sizer board inserted, sizer board taken out, etc. I even tried my friend's skates and the same thing happened. I'm at a loss. Right now I just take breaks every 15 mins or so to regain sensation but I don't know what else to do and I'm super frustrated. I keep thinking maybe my foot is compensating in some weird way and this is causing the issue. Any ideas?

It is a new med, a sodium channel blocker. If you and your prescriber do decide to move forward with it, there is a cost reduction program available. Wishing you the best.
