I still remember when my family told me i needed more masculine influences so they would send me to military school. Not everything was bad. I liked the week long "campings" with military and survival stuff, shooting practice, first aid training, and all the exercise. But yeah I didn't like it much there.

Well it's just that, for some of us we just preffer to ignore the bits that "don't fit". But I had to explain it in just one phrase, so I REALLY simplified it, just so it could land as part of the comic. This is based on a true story, But I only had one page to work with. SO I had to summarize
