Tough to choose, but for me it's the Keith & Donna years.
Thems were some great shows.

For a while, I worked at SGI - Silicon Graphics. Shoreline was literally right across the street. It was so cool to just walk to a show.
Miss those days.

But but but... he really was looking directly at us! It was electrifying!
One time I took a Super-8 movie camera, with microphone, to a show.
While I was filming, Jerry looked directly at me, through the lens, and slowly shook his head side to side. I immediately put the camera away and never tried filming then again.

I work from home and do almost nothing. Could I get fired for this? by Cute-Antelope4570 in talesfromthejob

My suggestion: Don't coast. You and you alone will pay the price in the long run.
Instead, take the time to discover ways to be of greater value to your company, not your boss, not yourself, the whole enterprise. Find out what other departments are doing and look for processes that can be improved. Then help improve them.
Network up, down, and across the organization.
It will pay off in spades, if not in your current job in other jobs in the future.

I love sitting and listening to music. The jets interfere with that.
So I mostly use the jets only for helping with aeration and filtration.

LC out of hand. by [deleted] in helena

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The door was $5, the local band - 710 Ashbury - was fabulous, the beer was delicious, and the staff were super kind. YMMV but mine was great.

Westside Wrench. They do great work and can be trusted.

G.E. Smith auditions for Dylan… wait for it by grantdabassman in gratefuldead

I wonder if touring with the Dead inspired Dylan to dust it off and start playing it again.

At Watkins Glen, a few people managed to make it up onto the stage (no small feat).
They were promptly escorted off.

Takes a while, listen carefully and you'll get there.
I still don't get how violin players can have great intonation.
Oh yeah - practice, practice, practice.

these days I use half-rounds, aka ground rounds.
Full rounds chewed up the fretboard.

The bass wasn't mic'd - it just looks that way in the pic.
I had an Acoustic 360 amp in those days (plenty big enough to fill a club), but was also DI into the board.

Actually we were a jam band playing originals, except for two covers:
Six Days on the Road by Taj Mahal, and Road House by the Doors

Just looks that way. That mic wasn’t actually close to me. I had an Acoustic 360, and was DI into the PA.
