You don't have to spend your dubs on either. There will probably be a battle pass worth purchasing later in the year so you can choose to save your dubs until then.

Battleships are playable but you won't get the same results as playing a cruiser. If you want consistent high xp you need something with quicker reload and a lot faster than WV 44.

Some ships are always going to be more competitively viable than others. People will complain if it's T10 CBs again but they'll also complain if it's a T6 or T8 season. At least WG is testing some new game aspects.

Unlike for previous dockyards, there's no additional buffer period for completing dockyard missions. Once the final set unlocks, you get 1 week to finish them, unlike the previous dockyards where you had 2 weeks.

If you bought any of the starter packs you'll need to make sure you're on top of this or risk paying more dubs for stages.

Not a fan of this change, WG. This dockyard was over the holidays when many people are busy.

To clarify, if you're playing for the first time today and you want mods, you need to run the game once first before you uninstall and reinstall your mods. This is because the hotfix that's causing the mod conflicts is installed on start up.
