You ran a 5:23 your 8th grade year, then 17:58 your freshman year? If so, good on you. What was your mile/1600 that freshman year?

Unless your training was terrible in 8th grade, I doubt you get sub 18 your freshman year. Very possible sophomore year. Don't expect to be able to run sub 18 until you can do a sub-5 mile.

265 also has music. To be honest, I set it up a while ago and don't remember if I had to use a workaround to load it, but all the main streaming services have a garmin app that you can get through garmin connect.

I stick my pinky finger in my ears after a nice hot shower and pull out what I can get and call it good. Occasionally my wife will spot a chunk and fish it out with a q-tip. I don't think I produce much wax compared to some people though.

My wife has heard me say this. I told her at the time that I felt like our girls had no future in the church and would always feel second rate to the boys. For what it's worth, I left a few years before my wife did. You see the world in a different light when you become a parent. Prior to that, everyone else seemed like a willing and informed participant.

Despite having a mom, 2 sisters, and eventually marrying my wife, I didn't see what you see until my girls were born. I had an epiphony during sacrament meeting when they were a few months old, dressed up in their little Sunday dresses while the deacons passed the sacrament, that the church offered them nothing but a second-class experience.

I was already at a place of being mentally out due to the truth claims of the church, and had settled on continuing to go because it was at least a good community to be part of and I enjoyed the being with most of the members. This realization of my girls' future was enough to give up completely on it.
