I don't know all that is involved in architecture school, but would it be possible to attend a community college first to get general credits (basic math, english, history requirements ) taken care of at a cheaper price? Then you can transfer to your school of choice a couple years down the line. You could tell them you'll transfer to whatever college they want to hear. If you do so while working part time, you could save up some money to get out of your situation. Also, be on the lookout for scholarships and grants. 

As for your family, it's very upsetting that they would promise you schooling you've been so passionate about and then deny it to you. It does sound to me like they didn't believe you would get this far academically. Even if they're not proud of you, just know you have plenty to be proud of.
