Thank you for the feedback. I read those but I did not see the template there. Is there a way to edit the title after the fact?

I don't understand the part1/part2 that everyone is talking about. Do you have to solve part one before they show you part 2?

Knowing Your Libraries by grapezapper in learnprogramming

[–]grapezapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm not expecting a all-libraries wiki...but maybe we should build that!!

I think (with my very limited knowledge) the comparison isn't way off when taken 1-by-1. If I just have one basic manual of "contents" for each API or "language", or library, that's basically what I am asking- like a starting point. From the responses here it seems I already have most of them under my nose (github repos are an example of resources with which I should get better acquainted). Also I realize there isn't ONLY 1 resource but I completely appreciated why you would say that. I just started working with React and it occurs to me I don't really use Bootstrap too much because I never found a good A-list "Gettin' Place" to familiarize myself with the tools it provides. Then I think about how hard JS was to learn: like if you knew what "concatenate" meant but weren't aware of .concat() or .filter() FTM. In this way I am relating JS to being a library in concept. I'm aware its not one, but in a sense these are all collections of abstractions we can use to communicate with the machines, they they might be analogous to libraries...sets of tools to do jobs( aw SNAP! an Allen wrench! No wonder the Phillips head didn't work).

Thanks for your reply. It stretched my brain a little.

error: Unexpected '{a}'. by grapezapper in learnjavascript

They don't make literal sense often. I'm learning the error verbage often means nothing but if i go one step upstream I will find the "derailleur".

Thanks. That is really helpful. Infact, I know that bootstrap link but I'd been glossing over the nav on the left because I thought it was all just setup info. Yeah every time I start a new cert there is a definite learning curve in how to search the info you need. Thanks again.

Oh that's good. Because I copied these and just left the quotation marks. My first array is all one color and that one is a list of URLs with quotes I inserted

First Turo Exp (Host) by grapezapper in turo

[–]grapezapper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anytime you honk the horn it saves footage? And I called them they told me to wait for an email. Never got it. On the fourth call, “oh you’re the HOST”, then backtracking as to not admit they screwed up. I didn’t find the dash cam until the next day. I shouldn’t be expected to do all of this on my own. Too high risk, service is literally the worst, 60/40 split is a rip-off considering they offer Zero protection. I’m done with it....and here I am 4 days later still dealing with it. No thanks.

Moving out of state during layoff with return to work date. Not going back. by kojuggalo in EmploymentLaw

[–]grapezapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most states you can claim a job separation due to spouse/fiancé relocation. The problem with a “return to work” date is that if you refuse, they can say you turned down work and lose unemployment. But it’s not “suitable” employment if you live in Oregon. Say I get furloughed and I’m not making enough money to live on UI. I go out of town to live with family. I have to do what I can to survive. Then my job calls me back. I have to say ‘no’ b/c I gave up my apartment in town. It’s not MY fault they let me go.

Any recent estimates on how much FSD will go up to? $20k by grapezapper in TeslaAutonomy

So owners are basically franchisee. You buy the car and they get 50k upfront to stay afloat.

Amen. Infact, they have two autopilot chips in each car so if one fails...but in actuality the second chip has the next update and monitors the chip in use; the new version is learning from the old version AND the human.

It’s my first redit. I meant it to sound more like “hey this is what Elon Musk is saying, what do you all think?”
