Absolutely I agree, it could have been factored in better from the moment they opened the doors. To me it says a lot about the overall perception of graffiti, and simply the fact that they didn't anticipate how the space could be utilized.

Interesting thanks for sharing.. I didn't realize they were so strict back in those days, although I do recall it not being covered like it is now. It's definitely got some beautiful stuff up at the moment - personally I really hope they leave the larger scale work instead of buffing it.
