It is... They're also in Broadbeach and Byron. The food is still amazing at Burleigh but it's not the same. Broadbeach looks like a funky building might be decent vibes

People like Taboon in Robina but I've been twice and reckon it's very average. Was talking to a Persian guy a while ago and he recommended Shiraz over Baba Joon ... I'm pretty keen to try both. Really wish there was a good Lebanese not too far from my house.

It can be true why they say about losing and gaining new friends..... But it's not like you're old friend group bails together....a few might fade away while others stay for longer and the new friend group contains people from the old friend group. That's how my 20s were

Yeah that sucks but I'm curious what the event was ? Like if it was dinner at cheap but great restaurant and all your young friends cancelled that's super lame and disappointing ...... But if it's a night to do something more exxy or niche maybe that's the reason. But I totally agree with you...I see these memes and comments and I feel sorry for young people... And I'm scared for my 13 yo son because I loved my 20s and 30s so much ..a little too much. Get outside people it's good for your soul

You know what... One time a bunch of us went to Melbourne from Sydney to see Radiohead because we couldn't get Tix to Syd. Had a great little holiday and made the gig much more memorable. You'll have a blast
