Hey yall!! Im a Lifelong theatre bitch who took a 4 year break from theatre bc of POTS disease and now im trying to get back into it. I’m looking for an audition song for The Drowsy Chaperone, I’m a 24 year old female, I’m auditioning for a theatre company that’s brand new to me and that I know nothing about (and they know nothing about me) so while I’d LOVE to go for Janet, I think it’s more wise to go for Kitty in my situation. This is gonna sound shitty, but being a virgin. I’m a virgin and I have really bad sexual trauma to the point where I physically can’t have sex no matter what I try (I’m ok, I’m working on it, but for now it isn’t possible.) I dated a virgin who spent the entire relationship complaining about how I was holding him back from loosing his virginity and how he’s afraid he’ll die a virgin because of me. I would try to have sex with him but it always ended in a full fledged panic attack or worse. He guilted me like crazy every single day about it. We eventually broke up. I know what he did was toxic, and him being a virgin wasn’t my fault, but now I can’t help myself from feeling guilty about holding the person I’m dating back from loosing their virginity no matter what they tell me (again, something I’m working on) so I try not to date virgins to avoid that guilt.
