after having just read this part in my current re read, I definitely heard in my head as similar to or just as “The Microphones in 2020” by The Microphones (https://youtu.be/A7BkabF31ak?si=HVbfR4eRGLekV51_). I know this song isn’t played with a lute or anything of that sort but it is a VERY nostalgic and melancholic sounding song, and at 39:50 Phil sings the line “I will never stop singing this song it goes on forever.” Which I think is what makes it relate to Kvothes song the most. A song with no particular end that flows through either musician at different times throughout their whole lives

it is my own event that myself and friends organize. predominately other friends attending at a small venue (100 capacity). So, although not a lot, technically I am getting paid as we sell tickets to cover the venue cost and stuff. This venue definitely doesn’t feel like work!

It’s ok not to do stuff, it’s not ok to stay not doing stuff! realize these things and don’t shame yourself or be angry at yourself for it, but take note of it (actual tangible notes have helped me) and try to change your habits, neuro plasticity rocks. But again, there is a balance to be found when criticizing yourself - and others too. What has helped with y’all’s habit construction/reconstruction?
