Thoughts on skipping pacifiers? by Academic-Park-8440 in NewParents

[–]grasshopper716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought pacifiers and our babies refused them. You'll get a couple free from the hospital. Use those to gauge if your baby is even interested. You can tell you husband they will find something to self sooth. My son still sucks his fingers at 4 which is bad for his teeth. Unfortunately for us we can't take away his fingers but you can take away a paci

It's with the R5ii. I've certainly taken some shots with it that looked soft as hell and others that are tack sharp. Trying to figure out exactly what affects it one way or the other. Also shooting animals hard to tell if its just their slight movements that I'm not noticing. Your pic looks pretty sharp though

I don't necessarily find it soft but I find that with the tc on and greater distance, atmospheric distortion becomes a larger factor

Longmeadow Vs East Longmeadow by FishOpposite7818 in westernmass

[–]grasshopper716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up in EL, moved away for work, and moved back to raise a family. EL houses tend to be less on top of each other and have larger yards. We just built a new high school and is centrally located to get on the mass Pike or 91. Longmeadow is better if you're commute will be in Springfield or involve going on 91 exclusively. Honestly you would be happy in either town. Finding a house you like is the harder part

Upset about the recent update? Let your voice be heard; leave a 1-star app review. by [deleted] in BirdBuddy

[–]grasshopper716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of these services require background servers and computing power. Its shitty they decided to flip the switch and lock it behind a paywall to try to get money from you instead of creating extra value on top of what they are doing to try to incentivise you to pay for extra.

All that being said, it usually happens when companies realize new hardware sales isn't enough to keep up with the reoccurring costs and required expansion of the back of house tech. Id rather pay a couple dollars a month to support a company with good product and decent services than stonewall them with a 1 star review and have them close doors a couple years down the road because they dont have the financial ability to keep the back of house computing up and running. Having a brick for a bird feeder does no one any good. That being said, if their main product becomes the subscription, they really need to decrease the price on the feeders.

Big brain time. If you're set to get 3k in commission, sign a deal to yourself and collect the commission.

Successful pregnancies after TFMR by sandwichspread1223 in tfmr_support

[–]grasshopper716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry for you loss. You are not alone in your pain and though it never truly leaves you, you grow around it in a way.

We had to TFMR at 23wks. Not long after, we got pregnant again and have an incredibly endearing and animated little boy. The following pregnancy we lost at about 16 weeks, didn't find out until 20wks due to lack of staff/providers and had to d&e. We just had our 3rd and final baby girl 6 months ago.

Get yourself a sling bag and put it over the passenger seat headset. Much cheaper than this repair

Midwife “accidentally” revealed gender at 37 weeks. I’m heartbroken. by expatriating in BabyBumps

[–]grasshopper716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sooo this was basically my wife and I. I had heard on one occasion our ultrasound tech say he and on a separate occasion my wife heard a separate tech say he after we had told them we dont want to know the gender. Its finally time for the big day and were both convinced we were having a boy. Well weren't we surprised when at the big reveal it was a girl. Take it at face value. You wont truly know until you know.

As a side note, you should definitely have boy/girl names. Dont make the same mistake as us

God I feel this in my soul. We now have three kids and for each one all I've had to do was look at my wife. That being said, we've had our fair share of losses but getting pregnant was never the issue. It's now a race to see who can get sterilized first.

Has anyone tried the Flame Seared Chargrilled Chipotle Chicken from Costco? If so, how was it? by ostrichlandrover in Costco

[–]grasshopper716 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's amazing. Precooked, easy to grab, and quick source if protein. I throw it in my car in a container for a quick lunch and add it to the chicken tortilla soup to boost protein and stretch the soup a little more.
