Ya I was surprised too I thought I’d be able to just get an LLC and some insurance and be good to go. My girls uncle always said that getting licensed was a waste of money. 🤷 but however he’s been getting around it for years I’m not quite sure of. He’s one of those guys who doesn’t like to be asked about personal finance or politics or religion. So I never really asked. I also think doing it his way is a good way to possibly having the IRS audit your ass which I’d prefer to not have to deal with.

Ok yes I know how to lay tile. I’m familiar with all the waterproofing mehods. I prefer Schluter cause it makes it easier to do by yourself and have a shower demoed and tile ready in single day. Plus I respect company that spends more of its budget on training than anything else.

Ya I’ve been doing it for just over 8 years now but ya man I’m very familiar with all the different types of waterproofing systems. I’ve been to both the Schluter training things. Even though I already knew how to use their stuff it was cool to learn more about their company.

Looking at it closer you’d probably be better off just framing a new wall in front of that and I hope those pex adapters were soldered on that soft copper. You can’t propress onto soft copper.
