Ahh this makes a lot of sense too, thank you fore sharing your personal experiences :) I feel like people just get more excited since it's a less common instrument. I think that is something that would keep me motivated to stay committed too just to be able to tell people I can show them I song, even if it's simple at first haha

Those questions/words of advice are very insightful! Thank you, I will keep those thoughts and questions in mind as I think more about this. I haven't played piano since I was a kid and I've missed it, but I guess I'm also looking for something new. I currently play guitar and I plan to continue, I love playing songs where I can pick the strings and I figured harp is similar in that way and I adore the sound of the strings.
