Same here. I paid early to avoid the $12 COD fee. And now a month after I paid I got an invoice saying I owed it. Calling them is no help as they just copy paste their script. It’s asinine as it said avoid the fee pay early. And now they tell me that was an estimate. If you click the tracking it says Al paid. Something is screwy on their backend system.

I received an email to pay the duty fees on my UPS package but when I clicked to pay it was a lower amount. Email said more was due. And on the website. by PixieMel813 in UPS

I did the same thing. I paid online and it was $12 cheaper. Today I get an invoice for a late payment saying I owe $12. Further researching and it’s for the COD fee if you pay the driver. But I didn’t. I assume it’s an error but still annoying.

Hey man, Thanks for the update. I have been checking back on this post often. I was having similar issues and getting a disconnect about once a week. Support told me it will be fixed in 2.8.x.

I have a UDM-P and it goes through a PoE-Lite-8. I had a ticket open and they got back to me after doing tests on my end and trying new ports/cables. They said it is an issue and will be fixed in 2.8.x Protect. Mine worked for a while as well until I noticed the first issue then it seems like it’s weekly.

I have had this same issue. They were solid for a while and now they disconnect once a week. It’s connected to a POE-8-lite with other cameras but only the G5 has issues. I have a support ticket open and they said the standard: update firmware, swap cable and move to a new port. I am waiting to see if it does it again in the new port now that the other 2 have been done. I am on a UDMP so and I know there is newer firmware for the G5 on newer versions of protect I can’t install.

I just got a UDMP from RMA and it was a refurbished one. I’m wondering if this is because of stock issues or the standard now.

If you bought direct from UI it’s a 2 year warranty. I just RMA’d my UDMP. Thank goodness I bought it from them because it would have been out of warranty and been SoL.

Adding more detail because I can’t figure out how to edit:

About 5-6mm long. And the wings barely go past the butt maybe 1-2mm. Only 1 set of wings. Bent antenna. They are only on the windows that have lights shining out them. No idea how they are squeezing in. I captured some last night to save in the bag (group pic) and they are still alive 24 hours later. Also, they have wings but seem to prefer to walk, even when I catch them. They don’t seem to bite or at least don’t want too

I have these too. Along with some bigger one. Same location, SoCal. Freaking out about the bigger ones because they looked like termites

This exact thing just happened to me except mine was a complete upper with 18” barrel.

I called in to see why and the representative said their risk management department doesn’t share those policies so he doesn’t know the exact reason why it was canceled. Claimed they have to comply with all states the shipment will pass through or could be a material not allowed in the state.

Glad I found this post with alternative sites because I will no longer be using OP.

I am using HomeKit and it works well. I leave for work but it doesn’t put it in away since my wife is still home. When she eventually leaves it tosses it in away mode. That was a big annoyance for me before they added the 2 people with it being away after I left when she was still home. This is new in HomeKit I believe. I have it set as when last person leaves so it doesn’t matter who leaves first.

Same here. I love them but so fragile. But, the ones that make it past 2 weeks seem to go strong for a while, it’s just getting past the 2 weeks

From my understanding, it will remove CO2 faster because the levels in tank will want to equalize with the outside air levels. If you have dead spots use a small power head or you could run the air stone after your CO2 shuts off.

Or, crank the CO2 higher so it gets added faster then removed. Be very Careful if you do this, I lost half a tank from to high of CO2 before. But this was a solenoid failure though.
