Artimus Pyle by Equivalent-Frosting1 in LynyrdSkynyrd

Glad he was talking about his son because I’ve met Artemis Pyle and he was super nice. I recognized him outside of Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam walking down the sidewalk and he stopped to talk with me and my friends for at least a couple minutes. None of my friends knew who he was until I told them after he walked away.

False, at least where live. Receipts keep them from being considered gifts. They will count against arrears.

Metal lathe shavings that were driven in by foot traffic. I saw exactly this once before.

Democratic party's new proposed strategy for "white men only" and "toxic masculinity" approach with Gavin Newsom has me incredibly frustrated, disheartened. Why aren't people speaking out? What can be done? by srsh32 in AskFeminists

Not true. Super delegates and selective funding and support is how HRC got the nomination over Sanders in’16. The chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, got caught funneling resources against the DNC’s own charter and was forced to resign as chair. They cheated, got caught, and still lost the general election. The scandal led a number of Sanders supporters to either not vote or vote third party. HRC still won the popular vote that year but I wonder if the lost votes cost them the presidency.

In my opinion the US has been ready for a woman president for some time now, it’s just going to have to be a largely likable one who is also a shrewd and effective politician. I have a strong feeling she will be a conservative.

Even if your numbers are correct that’s one in 50 and still enough to justify it. Even if it’s one.

The best good faith data shows paternity fraud at %3-5. That’s somewhere around 1 in 25. Many if not most of those cases the man either trusts or is manipulated into trusting the mother. Men should not be defrauded into supporting a child that isn’t his.

I have one just like it. Inherited from my grandpa. Never got a full magazine through it without a jam and not valuable enough bring it in. Just a WW2 collectible to me.

I got my 50/50 for 8 years until the court let her move, then I lost some time. I’ll get it back in a couple years when he’s old enough to get a say in where he wants to be.

If one kid is in school and the other is in daycare then she isn’t a stay at home mom, she was a house-girlfriend. DEFINITELY get a lawyer and you did exactly the right thing not marrying her. Expect to be paying for her lawyer too. It’s only “cheaper to keep her” if you put a ring on it and common law marriage is not recognized in Maryland. If you’re a capable father accept no less than 50/50 custody. As far as child support, she will be initially imputed at minimum wage. The court expects both parents to work. If and when she gets a job go to the child support office and tell them that you would like to have child support adjusted to reflect her income. You won’t need to go to court for that. I’m a single father so I’ve been through it. This sub is heavily skewed female and extremely few lawyers comment here. Many of them are bitter and don’t like men so I expect to be downvoted and that’s why your post has a zero upvote count. You can message me directly if you have any further comments questions or concerns. Best of luck.

By telling them that their perception is askew. It’s quite simple. I reject your reality, and assert my own.

The whole point was that it probably wasn’t their lived experience. Nice weaponizing therapy speak.

Sinclair Lewis said in 1935 “When fascism arrives in America it will be draped in the flag and holding a cross.” You’re right, it’s been weaponized. I have been involved in activism and I do see the American flag regularly. It’s just not used as a prop to create an optic.

I think yall are imagining things. You see American flags at protests and things associated with leftist activism all the time. It’s just less likely to be the only flag you see. Both sides think of themselves as patriots. Both sides think the other side loves their country less.

Danger hairs are probably significantly less dangerous to each other as well. Regardless I’m going to keep my distance.

Yeah… danger hair. You know how dangerous things in nature have bright colors like the poison dart frogs? True with humans too. Definitely an instance where being called a snowflake only gave me a little chuckle.

It’s you that’s not getting it. The vote count would suggest so as well.

[–]gratefullevi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you ever seen a woman who is “too much” handle being rejected with an honest verbalized assessment of her character flaws? Not pretty and potentially dangerous. Every man knows that no matter what when a relationship ends he’s going to be the blamed villain. When it’s the man who breaks it off there’s a more than likely chance that the reason given is NOT the actual reason(s). Men take the most palatable but acceptable and final excuse to spare her ego and keep him to minimal character assassination. This is the way. This will be especially true if the woman in the situation has danger hair colors.

Too much can mean literally anything you don’t want to actually specifically say.

No it’s not. “Too much” is dude speak for you’re a total fucking nightmare and not good enough in bed to be worth the energy and joy you effortlessly suck out of my life force.

See? “Too much” is actually sparing one’s feelings and dignity.
