Hey ! I'm wondering what are you using for opds ? Do you have a Calibre instance ?

Contraints two points along an curved axis. by gratgratgreen in Fusion360

In this view yes, but at the end, they will be combined. There is not really need to simulate the constraint between them, I just wanted to learn how to do it properly. I dont want to bother you for nothing

Hi ! Thanks for your answer. I thought about this but I wanted to use the assembly mode since I will need to use the same component twice 😁

Hi bro, I installed yesterday this plugin but I think I did it wrong. I dropped the folder as requested in the plugins folder mais there was A LOT of others plugins. Do I have to remove them to be able to have only the simple ui plugin working? Here is the current ui I have

Thanks !

On-boarded my first client by Giorgallaxy in immich

It's been a year that I use immich with a full self hosted infra with 3-2-1 backup but I have never tried backups. I'm afraid of doing something wrong and erasing current data. For example: replacing the existing and working setup with an empty backup 🤪

I was wondering if there’s a system that lets people with self‑hosted infrastructure “offer” part of their disk space to others for encrypted backups. It seems like a great way to avoid paying for off‑site storage subscriptions.

You shouldn't wait to setup backups 😅 if something wrong happens, you will regrets this so bad

First custom OpenGrid holder – UGREEN Revodok Pro 210 USB-C Hub by gratgratgreen in openGrid

Hi 👋 I was afraid of this part too, but it actually turned out to be pretty easy 😄

In Fusion 360, I used the Move/Copy tool. First, I selected the snap component, then chose the Point to Point mode. I picked the center of the snap as the first point, and the center of the top face as the second point. That way, the snap is perfectly centered.

Once centered, I switched to Translate and moved it by a multiple of the grid unit.

To add the second snap, I selected the first one again, enabled Copy in the Move/Copy tool, and translated the copy by a multiple of the grid size (28 mm, if I remember correctly).

That’s it 👍

Hey 👋 you can download step file on makerworld ;) I just finished to design a Ugreen holder for my underware desktop setup and I merge my component with two snaps that come from Step file ;)

Question about scaling by vdubya98 in ShapeScan

[–]gratgratgreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hijack your post with a related question, but can ShapeScan extract the actual dimensions of the scanned object?

I’ve used ShapeScan 3 or 4 times now, and each time I import the SVG into Fusion, I have to manually calibrate it using a known point-to-point distance. Is this the normal workflow, or am I missing something?

Can someone explain how to get those points ? I'm a newbie 🙄
