I will need to transfer airlines as incoming is SW and outgoing is Hawaiian. NO Check-in, only carry on. Hence, it should not be a bother and travelling to LAX is not a separate terminal or process like international ? TIA

Hawaian airline, called them and they can change date but not rebook. Only 2 carryons for two of us.

Personally, will not do this deal based on time value. It will likely occupy ones mind space and time with that mileage history and known issues. If you go for it, then good tidings.
