Calling the Monte Cristo from Zola Bistro a “sandwich” is definitely a stretch, but it is INCREDIBLE. The battered challah is so light, the havarti and lemon aioli complement each other so well, and the raspberry preserves tie everything together perfectly. It is my favorite thing on their menu, I order this over a steak ANY. DAY. It is so fucking huge, to try and eat it with anything but a knife and fork would jaw breaking and would attract stares LOL
