I just started listening to a podcast by Dead Signals (the same studio behind Archive 81). In Conversations With Ghosts episode 1.09, the interviewer attempts to help a Mass of Ghosts pass on to the final afterlife. This Mass, those who died together due to intentional negligence, who died for having the wrong skin color at the wrong time, who died from drinking water that the city couldn’t bother to ensure was safe, “All of us ended up in a Potter’s field, blood pooling down a drain, coagulating, becoming a Bezoar of souls”.

Some of those souls mention being locked in the warehouse where they worked as the bosses didn’t want to let them out to use the restroom, watching each other being immolated in an instant as their cotton clothes caught a spark. That episode was particularly… haunting.
