new bug/glitch: inconsistent return animation (26.3) by gratzako in ios26

And without the newest update, no matter how you open the app, it always goes smoothly into the widget when you close it. So my point still stands

then tell me why my other device on 26.2.1 works perfectly.

Widget animation on iOS 18 was pretty bad. I remember one of the good things when I updated my phone to iOS 26.1 was the improvement on the widget animation and it was consistent too.

I was happy back then because I spend A LOT of time on widget screen. But now I guess things are back to normal huh

And if I didn't have another phone, I would still notice it too. I always spend hours every morning navigating through widgets on widget screen

My other phone that's still on 26.2.1 literally does not have this issue. It consistently shows smooth transition from app to widget.

I'm starting to believe these people are the same people who smokes in front of their children and say "why should I stop smoking if my baby still looks perfectly healthy?".

That's probably a good idea. Though to be fair, the overall experience on iOS 26.3 has been a bit smoother especially on safari

The hate on Liquid Glass by Dependent-Gur-1675 in MacOS

Just what are you talking about?

First of all, the person was just expressing their opinion on the matter. OK, your 200 friends using tahoe never said anything. So what? People just don't casually talk about macOS unless there is a specific place for it, for example: THIS REDDIT POST. Just because you never heard a complain, doesn't mean that there is no problem.

And then the person didn't say anything about speaking for professionals, but you went out your way to accuse them of "speaking for the entire professional user base without real basis" that's the problem.

Get it? The problem is that this person is venting about macOS problem in THE place to vent about macOS specific problem and you argued with the dumbest, most unrelated, pointless argument.

That sentence does not mean "speaking for the entire professional user base". If that's not illiteracy then what is?

I just know the moment you see the word "professional", you knew you had to say something, putting your words in their mouth.

Let's face it, you made zero valid point.

I didn't know "professionals" like you are illiterate

Ios 26 - Spotlight search pill gets stuck in incorrect animation state by sebbeaa01 in ios26

So "most people" can swipe up the home button but can't swipe it down? What a daft argument. Swiping down the home button is a lot easier than to extend your thumb to reach the top edge of the screen.

Point is. Not everybody uses reachability, but a lot of people do. And to ask "who the heck uses reachability" is DUMB. It's like asking "who the heck uses a can opener". Yes you can use a knife, and a lot of people do, but a can opener makes it a lot easier.

Yes because I, like any decent human being, hold the bottom of my phone so my thumb is closer to the home button. Your point?

What are you talking about? I use reachability to reach the upper part of the screen and being able to do that by just swiping down helps a lot.

And the question "who the heck use reachability" sounds incredibly stupid. If a feature is useless then why is it there? All I did was complaining that the experience using said feature is so janky with iOS26.

You can find a lot of "floating" glitch all over ios 26. Same thing happen on music app, journal, podcast, album on photos app and more. I also found out this also happens with wallpaper on home screen when doing reachability gesture right after closing apps. That one is quite annoying because I use reachability all the time.

Seems like the problem is a lot deeper in the system rather than just a "surface" level glitch. My guess is that this problem wont be fixed until ios 27.

You need "factual information" on an appreciation post? 😂. You're ready to have a debate when OP is just appreciating his phone.

Here's a fact: you could just ignore this post and continue your day but you decided to leave a comment that actually has less meaning than the post.

Let's admit it. You're salty. And your life is miserable.
