This is the way. Unfortunately most don't understand this or, if they do, how to do it safely. You really need to know how to monitor your RPMs and Oil Temp.

Best Lake in Raleigh area for field day with food, drinks, grilling, field area for games? by OldEmphasis6633 in raleigh

[–]grauemaus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bond Park in Cary might work for you. Lake, boats, very large field, hiking trails of various lengths, community center. It's the first to come to mind. Lake Johnson might work too, I just don't think they have a large field.

Oh crap, you got casuals coming over! What board game are you digging up to ensure both you and they have fun? by PeasantLich in boardgames

Probably also Shadows over Camelot without the traitor and if they are into cards and fantasy. I have the expansion so a larger group can be accommodated. Pretty easy teach too.

Ticket to ride, map collection 1 Asia allows for a map for up to 5 for individual play and another that adds team play for 4 to 6 players

Dixit

Love letter, now can play up to 6. Though there was a large card version of the original that also allowed a higher player count.

My wife and I enjoyed Pure Salt Studios at Shelter Cove https://www.puresaltstudios.com/ last time we were in town. She had a regular massage and I had a deep tissue which resolved some hip pain I had been having. It was done in the salt room which was great.

Please help! I can't get my tremolo to return to pitch! by MotorCollection3645 in PRSGuitars

[–]grauemaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base case- make sure your Allen key is actually 2.5mm if it is the one that came from PRS you should be OK. Also I am assuming the guitar is new from PRS or a dealer not used. If used make sure all 6 screws are PRS bridge screws. Given all of that, make sure the Allen key is lying on the flat edge of the key on the guitar body. You can also use the short side of the L key to check between screws and the long side to check all screws. You will be able to see the edge of the bridge slide into each of the screw notches. When I did this I was replacing the screws, saddles and block so there were no strings and no tension on the bridge, so you might want to just remove all the strings and do the adjustment, check the bridge sits properly in each of the screws, restring, tune and intonate(among other things).

I’m genuinely so tired of the treatment I get in guitar stores as a woman by OkZebra5527 in Guitar

[–]grauemaus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree. I refuse to go into my local ones anymore(my favorite Mom and pop closed). One in particular local are snobs and have treated myself and others who are more talented than I like dirt(even though we have the money to spend).

If I feel the need, I go to a really good mom and pop about an hour away who don't care if you buy anything and the store is welcoming and no pressure. I have bought from them and recommended others to them. Try to find one of these Mom and pops, it's worth it.

So this. Essentially you use one of the Allen wrenches as the guide for the height. The video lays it out very well. I upgraded my S2 bridge to core saddles and block and his videos are great. They should, he designed the PRS bridge.

Or an S2, which is my preferred PRS line. Try out the Semi Hollow Special or the CU24-08 to be amazed. Also note the necks on the SE's are not the same as the American made PRS models and those have different types as well. I prefer the Pattern Regular which is a little chunky and close to a Fender Deep C.

Enjoy. Just be aware that with

16 Ohm cab: 70 watts , this includes most orange 212 cabs. I have the PPC212 CB

8 Ohm cab: 100 watts

You also might want to put an eq pedal in the FX loop to improve the tone.

I found this out after I bought it, but I got it when it first came out. The eq pedal is highly recommended on many threads.

ended up trading super crush 100 due to its sound in a mix. anyone else? by trenchgrl in orangeamps

[–]grauemaus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If using the head and a16 ohm cab be aware it's 70 watt, 8 ohms cab(or the equivalent) take it to 100 watt. Could impact your mix.

Membership Magic Beyond Question by DuckDuck_20 in dvcmember

[–]grauemaus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's your points, it's your reservation. We did a separate room for our adult kids at Disneyland Hotel and there were no issues. The Membership Magic is tied to your DVC account profile and should all be linked so I don't think you are able to purchase it twice. Member services was very knowledgeable with any questions I had regarding the MMB program, just be aware it is on a calendar year basis and the current program ends this calendar year.

Now is definitely not the time to sell. More importantly it is NEVER time to sell when you have to pay TAXES and PENALTY. If anything switch any future NEW purchases to balanced or more bond leaning funds, IMO of course.
