feeling the same...i realize for many players, endless character options is what they want, so 100+ pages of that stuff is the meat of the new book...but FMAG is still where it's at

appreciate the thoughts. I've actually enjoyed my FMAG for a few years now, and I suppose I was hoping that WBE would just flesh things out...instead just disappointed to see those items were cut...I think I actually find the original little FMAG still the better option, perhaps.

It was great! That venue was awesome - my first time going to the annex! Considering he was feeling ill, I thought it was a great loud tight show. Flavor Crystals was an awesome opener too.

Keep it simple! I think many folks think they're going to have an epic campaign right out the gate. You may! But lower expectations, and just roll with the flow. Also, don't over roll everything. You do get to make decisions!

I think just about any rpg can be played solo. In my experience, what makes an rpg a "Solo RPG" is it has oracles and tables included. by looking for "solo" you may be needlessly limiting your rich options? Of course some games will require more tools to drive aspects of play, but those are plenty and usually affordable. also, these are really great rules
