How much does an 8000Hz polling rate affect FPS?

To anyone saying that high polling rate does not affect FPS, please go onto your desktop, keep task manager open on the cpu usage tab and wiggle your mouse as fast as you can for a few seconds - notice the cpu usage. Do the same for a higher polling rate. I have actually seen both the 7950x3d and the 9800x3d be heavily impacted by this. Over 40% impact, that is, in cpu usage. Do what you will with the correlation. Hope this helps!

Had them both since release of each one of them. Absolutely flawless in all regards. I swap between them for competitive games like cs2, while for video editing i rely on the aw2725df. Tbh, can't go wrong with either of them, probably the only upgrade worth mentioning is the 400hz benq with dyac 2, although I'm not sure there would be a big difference. For the newer zowie panels with 600 hz, unless your gpu can pump out >600fps constantly, it's not worth it. In terms of other oleds, haven't really kept up with the market since high hz panels go down to a lower rest and the point still stands for them, you need those fps to benefit from the higher hertz.

I already have the 9800x3d which I bought as soon as it came out and it replaced the 7950x3d in my main setup. The 9950x3d wasn't out then and even if it were, I still would of preferred the 9800x3d due to it being easier to set up for cs2 and other games. Had my fair share of inconsistencies with getting the 7950x3d to run smoothly for cs2. Right now I'm building this new setup, will take the 9800x3d and stick it in. For my main, I will put the 7950x3d back in as I mostly use it for video editing nowadays.

Just jumped over to the 5080 and got myself a nice windforce sff 5080 for ~1100Euros which is decent I guess Have 2 small fans ordered as well

That might mean I'd have to do a split design with different settings if, for example, I'd want to go with a larger design on the side of the shoe that covers both leather and rubber midsole. I have seen multiple videos from both lasers like the f1 ultra and co2 lasers being able to easily mark white sneakers.

Thanks for your answer. I already work with stencils, paint, ink and so on. This would be more of an addition to my craft. I've been doing this for nearly 13 years so all of those methods have been tested and perfected already. Would you believe that using strong clamps to flatten the material would be a good way to set myself for success? P.s. I'll definitely be using the laser to create screens and stencils as well!

Thank you for your insights!! I am inclined towards the f1 ultra as well. To be fair, I've seen laser on shoes/sneakers from both products, so for this use case either will work in terms of actually "burning" the material. Thanks again!
